Privacy policy

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use ZVDent, we may collect the following information:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, password hash and account status.
• Order and delivery information: products purchased, order history, delivery address, billing details and customer notes.
• Support information: messages, contact details and information you provide when asking for help.
• App and technical information: device and browser details, basic usage events, error information, IP-derived security information and notification tokens when notifications are enabled.

We do not collect payment card numbers directly in the ZVDent application. Where a payment provider is used, payment details are handled by that provider under its own privacy policy.

2. How we use information

• To create and secure your account and authenticate sign-in.
• To process orders, arrange delivery, provide customer support and communicate about your purchases.
• To maintain, troubleshoot and improve the website and application.
• To prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access, and to comply with legal obligations.
• To send service-related notifications when you have enabled them. We do not sell personal information.

3. Sharing and service providers

ZVDent may share only the information needed for a specific service with trusted providers such as hosting, email, analytics, payment, delivery and technical-support providers. These providers may process information only to provide services to ZVDent or as required by law.

We may disclose information where necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with a lawful request or protect the rights and security of ZVDent.

4. Storage, security and retention

Account passwords are stored as one-way password hashes. Data is transmitted over HTTPS where available, and access to operational systems is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers.

We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes and meet legal or accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized using reasonable procedures.

5. Cookies and local storage

ZVDent uses necessary session storage and similar technologies to keep the site secure, remember language and currency preferences, maintain the shopping cart and provide core functionality. Disabling these technologies may prevent sign-in, checkout or other features from working correctly.

6. Your choices and account deletion

You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information associated with your ZVDent account. Account deletion instructions are available on our account deletion page.

Some transaction, tax, fraud-prevention or security records may need to be retained for a limited period when required by law or legitimate business obligations. Where retention is required, we restrict the information and delete it when that requirement ends.

7. Children

ZVDent is intended for dental professionals, clinics, laboratories, students and business customers. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
